Short Information 

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the examination date for the National Defense Academy and Naval Academy (NA) II Recruitment for 2025. The recruitment drive was initiated to fill a total of 406 posts. The application period for the UPSC NDA II Recruitment 2025 from 20 May to 20 June 2025. Written exam is scheduled to take place on 14 September 2025. Candidates who have successfully applied for the exam will be able to download their admit cards from the official UPSC website approximately one week before the examination date. You will need your application ID and date of birth to access your e-admit card. It is important to carefully check all the details on the admit card and report any problem to the commission immediately.

Education Qualification Details

 
  • Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible the NDA exam,  candidates must meet the following educational requirements :
  • For Army Wing of  NDA  : Candidates must have completed their 12th Standard or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • For Naval and Air Force Wings of  NDA, and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy : Candidates must have passed their 12th Standard or an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematica as subjects.
Candidates who are appearing for their 12th grade examination are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply Online  

UPSC NDA II EXAM 2025
Application process for the UPSC NDA II 2025 exam is entirely online. Candidates had to apply through official UPSC online portal.
 
  1. One Time Registration (OTR)  : Candidates must first register on the UPSC OTR platform if they have not done so already. This is a one time process for all UPSC examinations.
  2. Part I Registration : After OTR, candidates fill our the Part I of the application form, providing personal and educational details.
  3. Part II Registration : In Part II, candidates select their preferred branch (Army, Navy, or Air Force) choose an exam center, upload the required documents and pay the application fee.
  4. Fee Payment : The application fee is 100/- for General and OBC male candidates. Women, SC/ST candidates and sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempt form the fee. Payment can be made online using a debit/credit card , UPI or net banking.
  5. Document Upload : Application are required to upload a scanned passport sized photograph and signature in JPG format (20-300 KB) . A photo ID card (Aadhar, PAN, etc.) must also be upload in PDF format.
Candidates are advised to download and print the final submitted application from for their records. The commission will release the e admit cards on its official website one week before the exam.
