UP Police SI Recruitment 2025  Education Qualification Details: 

Post (4543) 

  • Mandatory Educational Qualification : Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university in India.

  • Preferential Qualifications : Candidates holding the following qualifications will be given preference during the selection process. However, these are not mandatory:

                *An “O” Level computer certificate from NIELIT(formerly DOEACC) or an equivalent recognized certification.
               * A minimum of two years of service in the Territorial Army.
               * A “B” Certificate from the National Cadet Corps (NCC)
 

                                                                Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the post of UP Police SI is a multi-stage process that typically includes the 

  1. This is the first stage of the selection process. The exam is conducted online and consists of objective-type questions. The subjects usually include:
  • General Hindi
  • Law/Constitution/General Knowledge
  • Numerical & Mental Ability Test
  • Mental Aptitude Test/IQ Test/Reasoning Test.

2. Physical Standard Test (PST) & Document Verification (DV)

Candidates who clear the written examination are called for the Physical Standard Test and Document Verification. The PST involves measuring the height and chest circumference of the candidates to ensure they meet the required physical standards.

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates who qualify in the PST and DV are then required to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test. This test is qualifying in nature and typically involves a running task that must be completed within a specified time.
