The Institute of Personal Banking Selection (IBPS) has officially released the notification for the Common Recruitment Process for Clerks (CRP Clerks – XV) for the year 2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill 10.277 vacancies for the post of Clerk in 11 participating public sector banks across India. The online application process is currently underway.

IBPS Clerk XV Education Qualification Details 

  • A degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as  such by the Central Government. Candidates must possess a valid Mark Sheet / Degree Certificate that they are a graduate on the day they register and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

  • Computer Literacy : Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory. Candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language or should have studied Computer/Information Technology as one of the subjects in High School/School/College/Institute.

  • Language Proficiency : Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT for which a candidate applies is preferable.

                                                      Selection Process

The IBPS Clerk selection process consists of two online examinations :

  1. Preliminary Examination : This is a qualifying exam. Marks obtained in the preliminary exam will not be considered for the final merit listing.
  2. Main Examination : Candidates who qualify in the preliminary exam will be eligible to appear for the main exam. The scores from the main examination will be the basis for the final selection.

  2. Click on the “CRP Clerical” link on the home page.
  3. Select “Common Recruitment Process for Clerical Cadre XV”.
  4. Click on “Click here to Apply Online for CRP Clerks XV.
  5. Register by providing your basic information to generate a provisional registration number and password.
  6. Log in and fill in the detailed application form.
  7. Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature , left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration.

Negative Marking: There will be a penalty for wrong answers in both the preliminary and main exams. For each wrong answer, one fourth of the mark assigned to that question will be deducted.
