Paper 1 (For Secondary Teachers, Classes 9-10):
Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:

Option 1 : A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks, AND a B.Ed. degree.

Option 2 : A Master’s Degree in a relevant subject, AND a B.Ed. degree.

Option 3 : Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with at least 45% marks (as per NCTE norms) AND a B.Ed. degree.

Option 4 : A four year integrated B.a. B.Ed. or B.Sc. B.Ed. degree.
Paper 2 (For Secondary Teachers, Classes 11-12):
Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:

Option 1 : A Master’s Degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks, AND a B.Ed./B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. degree.

Option 2 : A Master’s Degree with at least 45% marks (as per NCTE norms), AND a B.Ed. degree.

Option 3: A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks, AND a three year integrated B.Ed. course.
