Supreme Court of India (SCI) has announced the recruitment for 30 Court Master (Shorthand) posts. The online application period of this recruitment has commenced on 30 August 2025 and will close on 15 September 2025. Essential Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must fulfill the following criteria to be eligible for the position:

  • Education Qualification : A Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university in India is mandatory. A Lay Degree (BGL/LLB) is an added advantage, as it carries an additional weightage of 03 marks in the selection process.
Shorthand and Typing Skills:
  • Proficiency in English Shorthand with a speed of 120 words per minute (w.p.m.) is required,
  • Candidates must also possess knowledge of computer operations and a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm on a computer.
Experience : 
  • A minimum of 5 years of regular service in the cadre of Private Secretary/Senior PA/PA/Senior Stenographer in a Government , Public Sector Undertaking, or Statutory body is essential.
